Virtual and In-person classes for the safe, gentle birth you deserve

Hello! I’m Liz Alleva, a Certified HypnoBirthing Childbirth Educator with a passion for guiding women toward safe, gentle births. My journey into childbirth education began during my 15-year career as a public school teacher. When I became pregnant with my son Mason, my husband and I took a HypnoBirthing course that left a profound impact on us. So much so, that at seven months pregnant, we flew out to Portland, Oregon, where I became certified to teach the course.

Mason’s birth, on October 5, 2015, at 1:02 PM, was a testament to the power of HypnoBirthing. With the support of our midwife, we labored confidently at home, experiencing each surge with ease. By 5 o’clock that evening, we were joyfully ordering pizza with Mason, our little dog Kylie, and the grandparents. Now, Mason is my Best Helper and Sidekick in HypnoBirthing, eagerly assisting with packing class supplies and even co-presenting with me at Baby Expos!

Prior to my journey into childbirth education, I taught modern dance and choreography to middle and high school students in Brooklyn and Manhattan. I hold a B.A. in Dance and a B.A. in Sociology from Wesleyan University and an M.A. in Dance Education from New York University.

Currently, I reside in Wilton, CT, with my husband Neill, son Mason, and our beloved dog Kylie!

Here is a snapshot of us, taken roughly four hours after Mason’s incredible HypnoBirthing birth on October 5, 2015.
